Scottish Country Dancing in Oakville
We are a highly social group that loves to dance, and we have been dancing in Oakville since 1956!
Even if you have never danced before, don't have a partner and haven't a drop of Scottish blood in your veins, you will be made very welcome and we will have you dancing up a storm in no time.
Dancing begins again on September 12, 2017!
Join us Tuesday nights in the Dance Studio at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community Centre starting September 12. Experienced and soon to be experienced dancers welcome!
We start at 7:30pm. Not sure if you like Scottish Country Dancing? Come out for an evening and give it a try. After the dancing, continue the social time by joining us for a post-dance tea/pub hosted by one of the members.
Special for Newer Dancers!
Join a class for newer dancers in Multi-Purpose Room 1 starting at 7:30. Learn some steps, figures and dances. Then join the main group to enjoy dancing some of the dances you have just learned. The best of both worlds: learning geared to your needs and join experienced dancers to put what you have learned into joyful dancing!
Join us on Sept 30 in Oakville Town Square as we dance for Oakville Culture Days.
Stop by and join us for dancing in the square. The dances will be simple, fully described and you will be helped along by experienced dancers. Give it a try...just for the fun of it
